February 16, 2024: Holland, OH 43528 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Anthony Wayne Generals (Whitehouse, OH) and the host Springfield Blue Devils (Holland, OH), saw Anthony Wayne's basketball squad knock off Springfield by a count of 56-41.
With the victory, Anthony Wayne upgrades its record to 10-10 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Perrysburg (Perrysburg, OH) to play the Yellow Jackets in a Northern Lakes challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Yellow Jackets come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. Perrysburg won 70-49 in their recent league challenge against Clay (Oregon, OH)
Next up, the Blue Devils play the Napoleon Wildcats (Napoleon, OH) in a Northern Lakes challenge, on Tuesday, February 20. Springfield will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 12-8 record after their 51-36 league loss to Findlay (Findlay, OH).
