Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Western Wayne overwhelmed by West Scranton
January 5, 2024: Lake Ariel, PA 18436 The Western Wayne Wildcats basketball team (Lake Ariel, PA), was overwhelmed 68-25 in Friday's league battle with the visiting West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA)
The Invaders now possess a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scranton for a Lackawanna 1 battle on Monday, January 8. West Scranton will battle a Knights team coming off a 50-44 league win over Valley View (Archbald, PA). The Knights record now stands at 9-2.
The Wildcats (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA). The Buckhorns come into the Lackawanna 2 battle with a 5-4 record.
