With the victory, Marshall upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] (Eveleth, MN) to play the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 9-1. Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] won 57-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Superior (Superior, WI)
Next up, the Thunderhawks play the Hibbing Bluejackets (Hibbing, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Grand Rapids will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Bluejackets come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 59-28 non-league win over Denfeld (Duluth, MN).
