The Hermitage Hermits basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Strong Bulldogs to 52 in the Hermits league triumph on Friday.

The Hermits now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Emerson for a 1A Region 8 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Hermitage will battle a Pirates team coming off a 67-17 league win over Dermott (Dermott, AR). The Pirates record now stands at 15-5.
