Massachusetts High School Basketball - Wilmington bests Somerville
January 5, 2025: Somerville, MA 02143 The Wilmington Wildcats basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Somerville Highlanders to 41 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Sunday.
The Wildcats now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lexington for a Middlesex game on Tuesday, January 7. Wilmington will play a Minutemen team coming off a 84-68 league win over Reading Memorial (Reading, MA). The Minutemen record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Somerville falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Boston Latin (Boston, MA) to play the Wolfpack in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Wolfpack go into the game with a record of 7-0. Boston Latin won 63-54 in their recent league game against Concord-Carlisle (Concord, MA)
