January 6, 2023: Astoria, OR 97103 In Friday's league match, the host Astoria Fishermen basketball team scored a tight 79-73 triumph over the Scappoose Indians.
In their next game, the Fishermen face the Tillamook Cheesemakers (Tillamook, OR) in a 4A Cowapa match, on Tuesday, January 10. Astoria will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record. The Cheesemakers enter the match with a 3-6 record after their 49-31 non-league loss to Molalla (Molalla, OR).
