January 6, 2023: Tuscaloosa, AL 35405 The Paul W. Bryant Stampede (Cottondale, AL) basketball nipped the host Hillcrest Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL), 42-37 in Friday's league test.
The Stampede (9-7) will now prepare for their test against Huffman (Birmingham, AL). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 13-6 record. In their last test, Huffman got by Gardendale (Gardendale, AL), 75-57, in a league test.
The Patriots now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Haleyville for a non-league test on Monday, January 16.
