The Hitchcock County Falcons (Trenton, NE) basketball crushed the host Wauneta-Palisade Broncos (Wauneta, NE), 56-24 in Friday's non-league test.

The Falcons (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Dundy County-Stratton (Benkelman, NE). The Tigers go into the D1 District 11 test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Dundy County-Stratton walloped Wray (Wray, CO), 65-45, in a non-league test.

The Broncos now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Southwest for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7. Wauneta-Palisade will encounter a Roughriders squad coming off a 60-32 league loss to Cambridge (Cambridge, NE). The Roughriders record now stands at 3-6.
