Dundy County-Stratton Tigers (Benkelman, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wauneta-Palisade Broncos (Wauneta, NE), 62-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Dundy County-Stratton upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Tigers travel to Cambridge (Cambridge, NE) to clash with the Trojans in a D1 District 11 bout on Thursday, December 29. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Cambridge won 53-28 in their recent non-league bout against Anselmo-Merna (Merna, NE)

Next up, the Broncos clash with the Arapahoe Warriors (Arapahoe, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Wauneta-Palisade will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 66-45 non-league loss to Northern Valley (Almena, KS).
