Minnesota High School Basketball - South Ridge overwhelms McGregor
January 6, 2023: McGregor, MN 55760 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the South Ridge Panthers (Culver, MN) and the host McGregor Mercuries (McGregor, MN), saw South Ridge's basketball squad wallop McGregor by a tally of 83-22.
With the victory, South Ridge improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Greenway (Coleraine, MN) to confront the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 9. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 0-7. Greenway lost 54-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Littlefork-Big Falls (Littlefork, MN)
Next up, the Mercuries confront the Cromwell Cardinals (Cromwell, MN) in a A Section 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. McGregor will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 60-52 league win over Carlton (Carlton, MN).
