The Murphy Bulldogs (Murphy, NC) basketball crushed the host Nantahala Hawks (Topton, NC), 93-26 in Friday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Gilmer (Ellijay, GA). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Gilmer walloped Savannah Christian (Savannah, GA), 81-31, in a non-league test.

The Hawks now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Hayesville for a non-league test on Monday, January 9. Nantahala will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 59-51 non-league loss to Hiwassee Dam (Murphy, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-6.
