Maryland High School Basketball - Westlake knocked off by North Point

The North Point Eagles basketball team scored 77 points and held the host Westlake Wolverines to 66 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Charles for a Southern Maryland contest on Wednesday, January 11. North Point will battle a team coming off a 71-63 non-league loss to Roosevelt (Washington, DC). The record now stands at 5-4.

The Wolverines (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against McDonough (Pomfret, MD). The Rams enter the Southern Maryland contest with a 9-1 record. In their last contest, McDonough was defeated by La Plata (La Plata, MD), 63-58, in a league contest.
