Texas High School Basketball - Wharton ripped by Royal

The Royal Falcons basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Wharton Tigers to 37 in the Falcons league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to El Campo for a 4A Region IV District 25 contest on Tuesday, January 10. Royal will meet a Ricebirds team coming off a 49-43 league win over Needville (Needville, TX). The Ricebirds record now stands at 12-8.

The Tigers (10-14) will now prepare for their contest against El Campo (El Campo, TX). The Ricebirds enter the 4A Region IV District 25 contest with a 12-8 record.
