The Needville Bluejays basketball team (Needville, TX), was routed 75-48 in Friday's league battle with the host Wharton Tigers (Wharton, TX)

The Tigers now sport a 13-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Royal for a 4A Region IV District 25 battle on Tuesday, January 31. Wharton will battle a Falcons team coming off a 52-44 league win over Needville (Needville, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 11-11.
