Arizona High School Basketball - Safford overwhelms San Miguel
January 6, 2023: Tucson, AZ 85706 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Safford Bulldogs (Safford, AZ) and the host San Miguel Vipers (Tucson, AZ), saw Safford's basketball squad wallop San Miguel by a tally of 70-26.
With the victory, Safford improves its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Silver (Silver City, NM) to confront the Fighting Colts in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 11. The Fighting Colts come into the challenge with a record of 9-5.
Next up, the Vipers confront the The Gregory School Hawks (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 7. San Miguel will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 52-50 non-league loss to Baboquivari (Sells, AZ).
