The Ballston Spa Scotties basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Troy Flying Horses to 46 in the Scotties league victory on Friday.

The Scotties now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Schenectady for a Section 2 Suburban contest on Tuesday, January 10. Ballston Spa will battle a Patriots team coming off a 62-54 non-league loss to Academy of the Holy Names (Albany, NY). The Patriots record now stands at 1-5.

The Flying Horses (0-10) will now prepare for their contest against Albany (Albany, NY). The Falcons come into the Section 2 Suburban contest with a 10-0 record.
