Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Union Bobcats (Union, OR) and the host Elgin Huskies (Elgin, OR), saw Union's basketball squad overcome Elgin by a tally of 39-26.

With the victory, Union improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Powder Valley (North Powder, OR) to confront the Badgers in a 1A Old Oregon challenge on Saturday, January 7.
