The Union Bobcats basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Elgin Huskies to 26 in the Bobcats league triumph on Friday.

The Bobcats now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pilot Rock/Ukiah for a 1A Old Oregon contest on Saturday, January 28.

The Huskies (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Griswold (Helix, OR). The Grizzlies enter the 1A Old Oregon contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Griswold was outscored by Nixyaawii Community (Pendleton, OR), 68-22, in a league contest.
