South Dakota High School Basketball - Lennox fells Mt. Vernon/Plankinton
January 6, 2023: Mt. Vernon, SD 57363 Lennox Orioles (Lennox, SD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans (Mt. Vernon, SD), 58-49 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lennox upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Orioles host Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD) to play the Quarriers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 9. The Quarriers go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Dell Rapids lost 50-46 in their recent league bout against Madison (Madison, SD)
Next up, the Titans play the Tri-Valley Mustangs (Colton, SD) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 7. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 67-48 non-league loss to Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD).
