Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Neshoba Central Rockets (Philadelphia, MS) and the host Ridgeland Titans (Ridgeland, MS), saw Neshoba Central's basketball squad overcome Ridgeland by a tally of 58-38.

With the victory, Neshoba Central improves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Louisville (Louisville, MS) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-3.

Next up, the Titans confront the Holmes County Central Jaguars (Lexington, MS) in a 5A Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Ridgeland will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 11-8 record after their 62-37 non-league loss to Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MS).
