The Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA), 49-22 in Friday's league test.

The Rams (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Hollidaysburg (Hollidaysburg, PA). The Golden Tigers go into the Mountain test with a 8-0 record.

The Mountaineers now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Harmony Area for a non-league test on Monday, January 9. Philipsburg-Osceola will encounter a Owls squad coming off a 62-38 non-league loss to Blacklick Valley (Nanty Glo, PA). The Owls record now stands at 1-6.
