The Huntingdon Bearcats basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers to 28 in the Bearcats league triumph on Thursday.

The Bearcats now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tyrone for a Mountain contest on Monday, January 30. Huntingdon will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 51-39 league win over Clearfield (Clearfield, PA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 10-6.

Next up, the Mountaineers play the Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA) in a Mountain bout, on Monday, January 30. Philipsburg-Osceola will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 63-34 non-league win over Juniata (Mifflintown, PA).
