Connecticut High School Basketball - Brookfield overwhelms Joel Barlow
January 6, 2024: Redding, CT 06896 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Brookfield Bobcats (Brookfield, CT) and the host Joel Barlow Falcons (Redding, CT), saw Brookfield's basketball squad wallop Joel Barlow by a tally of 58-27.
With the victory, Brookfield improves its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Bethel (Bethel, CT) to play the Wildcats in a Southwest challenge on Monday, January 8. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Bethel won 57-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Westhill (Stamford, CT)
Next up, the Falcons play the Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars (Bridgeport, CT) in a Southwest challenge, on Monday, January 8. Joel Barlow will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 88-61 league win over Bunnell (Stratford, CT).
