Connecticut High School Basketball - Weston tops Brookfield
January 17, 2024: Brookfield, CT 06804 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Weston Trojans (Weston, CT) and the host Brookfield Bobcats (Brookfield, CT), saw Weston's basketball squad knock off Brookfield by a count of 47-37.
With the victory, Weston upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Immaculate (Danbury, CT) to play the Mustangs in a Southwest challenge on Friday, January 19. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Immaculate lost 82-56 in their recent league challenge against Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT)
Next up, the Bobcats play the New Fairfield Rebels (New Fairfield, CT) in a Southwest challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Brookfield will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 66-40 league win over Stratford (Stratford, CT).
