Lower Merion Aces (Ardmore, PA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers (Newtown Square, PA), 80-75 in a league bout.

With the win, Lower Merion upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Aces travel to Strath Haven (Wallingford, PA) to clash with the Panthers in a Central bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-10. Strath Haven lost 47-44 in their recent league bout against Upper Darby (Drexel Hill, PA)
