Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Lower Merion nips Garnet Valley
January 27, 2024: Glen Mills, PA 19342 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Lower Merion Aces (Ardmore, PA) and the host Garnet Valley Jaguars (Glen Mills, PA), saw Lower Merion's basketball squad hold off Garnet Valley by a count of 62-58.
With the victory, Lower Merion upgrades its record to 18-1 on the campaign. The Aces host Conestoga (Berwyn, PA) to play the Pioneers in a Central challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 11-6. Conestoga lost 49-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Neshaminy (Langhorne, PA)
Next up, the Jaguars play the Strath Haven Panthers (Wallingford, PA) in a Central challenge, on Monday, January 29. Garnet Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 1-17 record after their 56-41 league loss to Penncrest (Media, PA).
