The Firestone Falcons basketball team (Akron, OH), was overwhelmed 66-21 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Canton South Wildcats (Canton, OH)

The Wildcats now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orrville for a Principals battle on Wednesday, January 10. Canton South will confront a Red Riders team coming off a 56-27 league loss to Tuslaw (Massillon, OH). The Red Riders record now stands at 2-9.
