The Rushville Lions (Rushville, IN) basketball nipped the visiting East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN), 37-34 in Saturday's league test.

The Lions (7-11) will now prepare for their test against Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN). The Golden Bears go into the non-league test with a 11-6 record. In their last test, Shelbyville got by Yorktown (Yorktown, IN), 56-41, in a league test.

The Trojans now own a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Dixie Heights for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 9. East Central will encounter a Colonels squad coming off a 56-38 non-league loss to Ryle (Union, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 4-8.
