The Freeman Falcons basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Tri County Trojans to 35 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Falcons now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Meridian for a non-league contest on Monday, January 8. Freeman will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 37-28 non-league loss to Shelby-Rising City (Shelby, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-6.

The Trojans (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Johnson-Brock (Johnson, NE). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Johnson-Brock nudged Weeping Water (Weeping Water, NE), 59-23, in a non-league contest.
