Indiana High School Basketball - Lake Central overwhelms La Porte

January 6, 2024: La Porte, IN 46350

Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) and the host La Porte Slicers (La Porte, IN), saw Lake Central's basketball squad wallop La Porte by a tally of 70-17.

With the victory, Lake Central improves its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Portage (Portage, IN) to confront the Indians in a Duneland challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 10-8.

Next up, the Slicers confront the Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies (Plymouth, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. La Porte will attempt to improve on its 2-15 season record. The Pilgrims/Rockies come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 55-35 league win over Mishawaka (Mishawaka, IN).
