New Jersey High School Basketball - West Milford topped by Northern Highlands

The Northern Highlands Highlanders basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting West Milford Highlanders to 36 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Saturday.

The Highlanders now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ridgewood for a Freelance contest on Tuesday, January 9. Northern Highlands will battle a Maroons team coming off a 56-45 non-league loss to Pascack Valley (Hillsdale, NJ). The Maroons record now stands at 4-6.

The Highlanders (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeland Regional (Wanaque, NJ). The Lancers come into the Big North - Independence contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Lakeland Regional prevailed over Pascack Hills (Montvale, NJ), 51-40, in a non-league contest.
