In Monday's league contest, the host Scranton Knights basketball team scored a good 62-47 triumph over the Abington Heights Comets.

The Knights (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against West Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Invaders go into the Lackawanna 1 contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, West Scranton was toppled by Delaware Valley (Milford, PA), 60-50, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Comets confront the North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA) in a Lackawanna 1 contest, on Thursday, January 9.
