Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Scranton defeats West Scranton
January 9, 2025: Scranton, PA 18504 The Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA) basketball were winner over the host West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA), 58-48 in Thursday's league bout.
The Knights now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they host Wallenpaupack Area for a Lackawanna 1 bout on Monday, January 13. Scranton will play a Buckhorns team coming off a 53-29 league loss to Delaware Valley (Milford, PA). The Buckhorns record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, West Scranton falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Invaders travel to North Pocono (Covington Township, PA) to play the Trojans in a Lackawanna 1 bout on Monday, January 13. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 3-6. North Pocono lost 49-32 in their recent league bout against Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA)
