Iowa High School Basketball - Pleasantville fells Clarke
January 6, 2025: Osceola, IA 50213 The Pleasantville Trojans basketball team scored 47 points and limited the host Clarke Indians to 39 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Monday.
The Trojans now have a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Colfax-Mingo for a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. Pleasantville will confront a Tigerhawks team coming off a 43-16 league win over Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA). The Tigerhawks record now stands at 4-7.
With the loss, Clarke falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Albia (Albia, IA) to confront the Blue Demons in a South Central game on Tuesday, January 7. The Blue Demons go into the game with a record of 7-1. Albia won 76-31 in their recent non-league game against Cardinal (Eldon, IA)
