Iowa High School Basketball - Pleasantville triumphant over Interstate 35
January 10, 2025: Pleasantville, IA 50225 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Pleasantville Trojans (Pleasantville, IA) and the visiting Interstate 35 Roadrunners (Truro, IA), observed Pleasantville's basketball team overwhelm Interstate 35 by a score of 57-23.
The Trojans (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Earlham (Earlham, IA). The Cardinals come into the West Central challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Earlham was routed by Des Moines Christian (Des Moines, IA), 61-32, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Roadrunners encounter the Van Meter Bulldogs (Van Meter, IA) in a West Central challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Interstate 35 will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 76-17 league win over Ogden (Ogden, IA).
