In Tuesday's non-league test, the Freedom Eagles (South Riding, VA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Loudoun County Captains (Leesburg, VA), by a score of 70-43.

Next, the Eagles encounter the John Champe Knights (Aldie, VA) in a Potomac test, on Thursday, January 8. Freedom will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 69-52 league loss to Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA).
