January 7, 2022: El Paso, TX 79936 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Americas Trail Blazers (El Paso, TX) and the visiting Pebble Hills Spartans (El Paso, TX), saw Americas's basketball squad wallop Pebble Hills by a tally of 47-20.
With the victory, Americas improves its record to 22-1 on the campaign. The Trail Blazers host Franklin (El Paso, TX) to play the Cougars in a 6A Region I District 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 11. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 17-3. Franklin won 61-51 in their recent league challenge against Coronado (El Paso, TX)
Next up, the Spartans play the Montwood Rams (El Paso, TX) in a 6A Region I District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 11. Pebble Hills will attempt to improve on its 15-7 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 1-0 league win over Eastlake (El Paso, TX).
