The Haskell Indians basketball team (Haskell, TX), was routed 45-17 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Anson Tigers (Anson, TX)

The Tigers now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Albany for a 2A Region II District 10 battle on Tuesday, January 11. Anson will battle a Lions team coming off a 55-50 league loss to Cisco (Cisco, TX). The Lions record now stands at 1-3.

The Indians (1-12) will now prepare for their battle against Stamford (Stamford, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 2A Region II District 10 battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Stamford trounced Olney (Olney, TX), 50-32, in a non-league battle.
