Texas High School Basketball - Cooper fells Seminole
January 7, 2022: Abilene, TX 79605 Cooper Cougars (Abilene, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Seminole Indians (Seminole, TX), 69-56 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Cooper upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Cougars travel to Lubbock (Lubbock, TX) to clash with the Westerners in a 5A Region I District 4 bout on Friday, January 14. The Westerners go into the bout with a record of 11-11. Lubbock lost 64-44 in their recent non-league bout against Greenwood (Midland, TX)
Next up, the Indians clash with the Andrews Mustangs (Andrews, TX) in a 4A Region I District 2 bout, on Friday, January 14. Seminole will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 13-8 record after their 54-52 non-league win over Portales (Portales, NM).
