Indiana High School Basketball - Faith Christian nudges Pioneer

In Saturday's non-league outing, the Faith Christian Eagles (Lafayette, IN) basketball squad edged the host Pioneer Panthers (Royal Center, IN), by a count of 54-51.

The Eagles (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against North Newton (Morocco, IN). The Spartans go into the Midwest outing with a 6-6 record. In their last outing, North Newton was tipped by Twin Lakes (Monticello, IN), 55-52, in a non-league outing.

The Panthers now hold a 2-10 record. They play next when they host Lewis Cass for a non-league outing on Friday, January 13. Pioneer will clash with a Kings squad coming off a 54-47 non-league win over Peru (Peru, IN). The Kings record now stands at 7-3.
