Indiana High School Basketball - Tri-County nips Pioneer

January 3, 2023: Wolcott, IN 47995

Tri-County Cavaliers (Wolcott, IN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Pioneer Panthers (Royal Center, IN), 43-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Tri-County upgrades its record to 4-8 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to DeMotte Christian (DeMotte, IN) to play the Knights in a Midwest bout on Friday, January 6. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 3-5. DeMotte Christian lost 50-28 in their recent non-league bout against Traders Point Christian (Whitestown, IN)

Next up, the Panthers play the Frontier Falcons (Chalmers, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Pioneer will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 59-41 league win over South Newton (Kentland, IN).
