In Saturday's non-league outing, the Friend Bulldogs (Friend, NE) basketball squad beat the host McCool Junction Mustangs (McCool Junction, NE), by a count of 57-49.

The Bulldogs (7-3) will now prepare for their outing against Dorchester (Dorchester, NE). The Longhorns go into the non-league outing with a 1-7 record. In their last outing, Dorchester was topped by Sterling (Sterling, NE), 37-29, in a league outing.
