Ohio High School Basketball - Miami Trace tops Zane Trace
January 7, 2023: Chillicothe, OH 45601 Miami Trace Panthers (Washington Courthouse, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Zane Trace Pioneers (Chillicothe, OH), 44-35 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Miami Trace upgrades its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Hillsboro (Hillsboro, OH) to play the Indians in a Frontier bout on Friday, January 13. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 5-8. Hillsboro lost 47-41 in their recent league bout against Jackson (Jackson, OH)
Next up, the Pioneers play the Paint Valley Bearcats (Bainbridge, OH) in a Scioto Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Zane Trace will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Bearcats come into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 55-49 league win over Adena (Frankfort, OH).
