The Zane Trace Pioneers basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Unioto Shermans to 63 in the Pioneers league triumph on Saturday.

The Pioneers now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huntington for a Scioto Valley contest on Friday, January 20.

The Shermans (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Circleville (Circleville, OH). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Circleville was nudged by Bloom-Carroll (Carroll, OH), 74-58, in a league contest.
