In Saturday's non-league outing, the Wes-Del Warriors (Gaston, IN) basketball squad edged the host Tri-Central Trojans (Sharpsville, IN), by a count of 64-58.

The Warriors (5-6) will now prepare for their outing against Delta (Muncie, IN). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Delta was tipped by New Palestine (New Palestine, IN), 62-48, in a league outing.

The Trojans now hold a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Rossville for a Hoosier Heartland outing on Friday, January 13. Tri-Central will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 54-41 league win over Sheridan (Sheridan, IN). The Hornets record now stands at 7-6.
