The Tri-Central Trojans basketball team (Sharpsville, IN), was nudged 63-60 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Elwood Panthers (Elwood, IN)

The Panthers now possess a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southern Wells for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 7. Elwood will battle a Raiders team coming off a 52-49 league loss to Jay County (Portland, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 4-11.

The Trojans (5-13) will now prepare for their battle against Taylor (Kokomo, IN). The Titans come into the Hoosier Heartland battle with a 14-3 record. In their last battle, Taylor was nudged by Madison-Grant (Fairmount, IN), 63-59, in a non-league battle.
