In Friday's league match, the host Eastern Comets basketball team scored a good 69-60 triumph over the Tri-Central Trojans.

In their next game, the Comets meet the Southwood Knights (Wabash, IN) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 10. Eastern will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Knights enter the match with a 0-3 record after their 69-64 league loss to Peru (Peru, IN).

With the defeat, Tri-Central moves to 1-3 on the year. The Trojans host Morristown (Morristown, IN) to meet the Yellow Jackets in a non-league match on Saturday, December 10.
