The Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles routed the host Hammond Central Wolves basketball team by a final score of 74-37 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Fighting Eagles face the Gary West Side Cougars (Gary, IN) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 9. Lake Station Edison will attempt to move on its 11-3 season record.

With the defeat, Hammond Central moves to 5-11 on the year. The Wolves travel to Whiting (Whiting, IN) to face the Oilers in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 10. The Oilers enter the game with a record of 7-8.
