The Ardrey Kell Knights (Charlotte, NC) basketball were winner over the visiting Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC), 62-42 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Knights now possess a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to South Mecklenburg for a 4A South Meck bout on Friday, January 10. Ardrey Kell will play a Sabres team coming off a 72-67 league win over Palisades (Charlotte, NC). The Sabres record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Myers Park falls to 6-9 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Olympic (Charlotte, NC) to play the Trojans in a 4A South Meck bout on Friday, January 10. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 12-2. Olympic won 59-55 in their recent league bout against Palisades (Charlotte, NC)
