The Ruston Bearcats basketball squad (Ruston, LA), was outscored 65-50 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers (Shreveport, LA)

With the victory, Calvary Baptist Academy advances its record to 18-4 on the year. The Cavaliers host Homer (Homer, LA) to meet the Pelicans in a 2A District 1 battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Pelicans enter the battle with a record of 11-6.

The Bearcats now own a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Byrd for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 9.
